So, I’m working on reverting my 92' Wrangler Back to stock form for the upcoming paint job:
So I need to remove some rocker body armor in order to fit on the side flares under the door. But I can’t figure out how to get it off.
At first I thought I could just use an Alan wrench to get it off, but upon further inspection, these bolts are completely circular so an Alan Wrench won’t work
and the other side looks like this:
So, this could be a completely stupid question but I just can't figure this out. How to i get these dang armor guards off?

Pop rivets...looks like you will be drilling/patching holes.

Dremel and a hammer and punch. Those are rivets of some kind I believe.

Drill. They’re not that tough.

Rivets are made of soft metal. Should be very easy to drill out. Experiment with the drill bit size on the first one, and the rest will be cake.

Those are rivets. You’ll have to drill them out and replace them with new rivets if you want to reinstall. If not reinstalling, you’ll need to patch up the whole before paint.

I think its just a visual trick, probably a color correction artifact.

The color is a bit off, the Sand Beige also comes off as grey in much of the movie.
